I only recently discovered the power of the middle click button on my mouse. When I browse the internet, I am always opening links in new tabs so that I can go back and read them later. In the past, I’ve right clicked, selected “Open in a New Tab” and then moved on.
But did you know that if you middle click, the window will open in a new tab for you? It may not seem like much, but it’s become a huge time (and frustration) saver for me!
You can also middle click on a tab to close it.
Of course, now I find it frustrating to browse the internet on my laptop, where there is no middle click button, but I recently discovered this AutoKey script that offers a way around that.
Do you open links in new tabs often? Do you use middle click?
